About SINGAPORE POOLS

Singapore Pools is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Tote Board and was established by the Singapore Government in 1968, as Singapore’s only legal lottery operator.

Singapore Pools has two clear objectives – to provide a legal avenue for betting in Singapore to counter illegal betting syndicates and to channel surplus earnings to benefit the community.

We operate over 300 branches and authorized retail outlets that offer lottery games, such as Toto, 4D and Singapore Sweep and Sports Betting for football matches and motor racing events, as well as betting on horse races.
Singapore Pools takes pride in the high integrity with which we conduct our business. With over 250 draws held every year, in the presence of members of the public and an independent public accounting firm. Prizes are paid promptly and winners are given up to 180 days to claim their prize.
Part of a global family

Singapore Pools is a member of the World Lottery Association (WLA) , an international body of lottery organisations and the Asia Pacific Lottery Association (APLA) .

WLA requires member gaming operators to conduct their business fairly and justly based on established industry benchmarks and to their corporate citizenship seriously, including channelling proceeds to the deserving in the community and act responsibly on the issues of problem gambling and underage betting.

As a socially responsible gaming operator, we recognize that it is our duty to have in place a high standard of responsible gaming that minimizes harm to our customers. In recognition of that effort, Singapore Pools has been awarded Level 3 Certification of the World Lottery Association Responsible Gaming Framework Certification Programme, which is an endorsement that our key operations covering game design, marketing and sales, distribution, staff and customer education have met the stringent responsible gaming standards of the international lottery industry.
